Notices for the month of September

Saturday 11th Kent Churches Cycle Ride. This annual event takes place once again on Saturday 11th September, and volunteers are needed to welcome visitors and offer refreshments. Please add your name to the list at the back of the church in your chosen time-slot, or speak to Ray Cunningham if you need more information. It can be very interesting talking to the visitors, many of whom express surprise and pleasure when seeing the interior of our church for the first time!
Thursday 16th 2.30pm, The group formerly known as the Church Guild will be meeting for coffee at the café in Christ Church on the High Street.
Sunday 26th 11am, Back to Church Sunday/Harvest Festival. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite any friends and neighbours to join us and members of the groups who meet in our church to an informal service, either at 11 am, or to our Harvest Tea at 5pm, followed by Songs of Praise. We’ll sing some of the harvest hymns, but friends often complain that they don’t know the hymns. If you invite them soon, there will be time to choose favourite hymns and get them to Audrey Mitchell - 784820 – who will do her best to include as many favourite hymns as possible in the Songs of Praise.
